These three Valhalla games formed a cult following among
its many users and achieved best buy awards from retailers,
extensive television coverage and review scores up to 94% in
the consumer press. They were not technically ground
breaking games by any means but were the first Amiga games
to use digital speech extensively
Vulcan
believe the reason they became so popular was that they
made you think. They are extremely simple to operate but
very complicated in design, this demands a slow approach
requiring logical and lateral thinking in
order to solve the many devious puzzles
20 years later and as a celebration of Vulcans
roots, the Valhalla
Classics have been
resurrected with a complete re-recording of actor digital
speech, revamped graphics, improved music and made
available as downloadable episodes for your PC
The end result... a
preservation of gaming history!
Way back in 1994, the first game Vulcan ever
made was called Valhalla & the Lord of Infinity. It was the
first ever speech adventure for the Amiga computer. It was such
a resounding success that in 1995 they created Valhalla Before
the War and in 1996 Valhalla & the Fortress of Eve
