FRANCHISE OPPORTUNITY
only read if you are an entrepreneurial individual or company
Vulcan Software
own the
Valhalla Classics,
an intellectual property that comprises of 12 unique episodes of addictive speech adventuring which has been tailored and designed for a specific audience. The audience is the English speaking section of the world. Not only do the game characters speak in this language, but most of the puzzles and presented heritage within the episodes are based on British and American culture
The
Valhalla Classics
in their current form allow anyone with an internet connection to download all 12 episodes, episode one being available on many mirror servers around the world and soon to be on various English language magazine CDs. All 12 episodes can also be obtained on CD and shipped to the customer's door. In a nutshell, the episodes are available (as much as they can be) to a potential audience, and the desire or impulse to purchase keycodes is instantly available to anyone who possesses an internet connection and credit card
Overall this is a solid internet-based business model, taking advantage of current trends and technology to ultimately provide entertainment to whoever requires or desires it
All 12 episodes are completely developed and the
Valhalla Classics
brand firmly set in stone with a ten year history. Combine this with the
Valhalla Classics
website that provides all the information and end user services required and backed up by our processing tools, the entire business operation is automated
The only human intervention is the technical support via email (which is minimal due to the website) and the promotion of the brand to increase user awareness and sales, whether that is in the form of advertising, interviews or securing reviews
Vulcan
are chuffed; we have created something, implemented something and we take great pleasure out of running the brand, which in turn generates revenue for our company. Our sales (in order of volume) are to Britain, America, Canada, Australia and other English-speaking customers from around the world
Now then, there are many other languages in the world besides English and some of the language specific territories have healthy markets, markets that cater for cheap downloadable PC games, markets for which the
Valhalla Classics
brand would excel in if they were presented in the language of that market
This of course brings us on to a franchise opportunity. MacDonald's is placed in every country in the world (almost) and each outlet is managed by an individual from that country... erm... bad analogy? Erm... okay, so
Vulcan
intend to turn the
Valhalla Classics
into burgers and fries!
Seriously though, we are looking for entrepreneurial individuals or companies that would like to run the
Valhalla Classics
brand for a specific language speaking region. So far the
English
and
European Portuguese
territories have been claimed, but this leaves all other languages available
For the following example, lets presume you intend to run the Klingon versions of the
Valhalla Classics.
You would need to answer "yes" to the following:
The Creation Of The Klingon Versions
I know the Valhalla Classics back to front
I have the ability to translate English text into Klingon
I have the ability to create bmps using provided templates and using font tools to create images that contain Klingon text
I have the ability to record actor speech in Klingon, whether that is using my own voice or finding a Klingon speaking person (or persons) who can do this for me
I have the ability to crop and tidy wavs of the recorded Klingon speech to a specific wav format
I have the ability to change in-game object definitions to give obscure puzzles relevant meaning in the Klingon culture
I have the ability to change provided html files and translate the Valhalla Classics website into Klingon
The Running Of The Klingon Versions
I relish the idea of being responsible for the Klingon version of the Valhalla Classics
I have excellent conversational skills in Klingon
I collect my email every day and have enough time to answer any technical support questions in Klingon
I am familiar with most of the Klingon language computer game magazines and Klingon language game internet sites
I have the time, interest and enthusiasm to secure Klingon reviews of the Valhalla Classics in the Klingon press and provide Klingon interviews to anyone who asks
I have the time to promote the Klingon versions of the Valhalla Classics to chat forums and websites
If you can answer yes to the above, then you should contact
Vulcan
to secure the Klingon language version, oh, I mean the language version that actually exists in the world and has not already been claimed
Once on board, we will supply you with all the game resources, such as text for translating, bmp templates and offline html folders. Your job would be to turn the complete package of the
Valhalla Classics
into Klingon
Once done and approved, Vulcan would create the Klingon episodes and upload everything to the
Vulcan
servers. From this point on, you have a web address that points to your
Valhalla Classics
website (in Klingon) which has
you
as the primary contact person for Klingon enquires
Your ongoing responsibility would be to promote the Klingon franchise of the
Valhalla Classics
and offer technical support via email
Vulcan's
automated sales tools collect and process Klingon credit card orders and emails the customers (Klingon translated) emails with Klingon keycodes. At the end of every month you will receive a report of how many Klingon keycodes had been sold, along with payment for 50% of revenue generated by the Klingon sales
