No fancy graphics yet
and the solution so far is laid out on this one page.. we will
make it all nice as soon as possible
You start episode 3 in Lord Monty's room, pick
up the cement behind you (you will find this useful
later) and notice the door that has no lock or no lever.
Okay walking right, pick up the book and read all about the
Tombs. Notice in this room the Tomb of The Poet and
the shrine and burial chamber of Lord Monty.
Walking up, operate the tap on the wall and pick up the
apple that grew on the bush, pick up the door key above it,
notice the toffee monster with two chests and to the right of
that the crack in the floor.
Place your cement onto the crack, you can now walk on the
crack without falling to your death. Now operate the drain
between the chest and the bush, it will open up and you can
now take the arrow. Notice the River Keeper who
requires a password.
Walking down the room notice the vase with a chest
either side and to your right pick up the other piece of
cement. Operate the drain in that corner and take the seeds
and notice the crossbow and tree stump.
Place your apple on the tree stump, place the arrow
onto the crossbow and now pull the lever on the wall, the
apple will now be split open and inside is a toffee (the
original toffee apple :)) pick up the toffee and give it to
the toffee monster. Take the green fingers potion and the
potion of sight.
Drink the potion of sight and then walk onto the eye
symbol at the bottom of this room. A door will now appear in
the wall and you can open it with your door key.. walk down
into the cannon room.
cannon room
Use your cement on the first crack you come across, then pick
up and read the book of ancestors, you will want to
refer to this book often, so keep it in your rucksack, On
your right notice the alter of dispute.
To the left of this room is another toffee monster and a
barrel of earth. Place your seeds into the earth, pick up the
bag of sand and then operate the tap on the wall.. now
watered, your seeds would have grown into a flower, pick it
up and put it into the vase in Lord Monty's room.
From the open chests, take the ring of compromise and
the sheet of poetry.. while your here you may as well walk
further right and down the passageway between the crossbow
and the tree stump, down here you should pick up the hair
grip.
Okay back to the cannon room and place the ring of
compromise onto the alter of dispute. Now the alter is at
peace you will be given the first symbolic object which is a
white dove. Walk down to the bottom of this room, notice the
cannon, the ink well with a chest either side, pick up the
monocle, notice the herbalists bowl and the large rock
blocking your way.
Walking left pick up the cement and the book all about
the river keepers and have a read. Before leaving this room
remember the tomb of the singer is in here. Okay, as the book
explained, the river keepers will only allow you across their
river if you shout out the correct password, they are
symbolic objects, we have one already, the white dove of
peace.. so run up to the river keeper in Lord Monty's room
and look at the dove in your rucksack so you can shout out
the password.
Cross the river, drop the book about the river keepers,
pick up the French drama and pull the lever on the wall..
this changes the very first door you found (the one with no
lock or lever) and it now has lock.. go to that door and
insert your hair grip into the lock... with a bit of fiddling
it will open and now enter the kettle room.
kettle room
okay so the door closes behind you :) don't panic..
walk up and pull the lever on the wall.. a door opened.. but
sadly not the one we need to get back out.. this lever
actually opened the door to the left of the cannon room but
more on that later..
okay in this room walk down and pick up the kettle,
operate drain that it sat on and take the book all about the
vanishing toffee.. you may need to drop your book about the
tombs first.. so walking near that toffee you will see how
frustrating it can become as it vanishes when it hears your
footsteps approaching.
Walk away from the toffee so it re appears then drop
your bag of sand in front of that alter, you can now creep up
on the toffee and grab it.
Notice another river keeper in this room.. and another
piece of cement.. pick up the cement but you may need to drop
your book about the toffee first.
Walk upwards and notice the hot coals and the key
inside a glass case.. place cement on the crack, place your
kettle on the drain, pull the tap and fill your kettle with
water.. pick up the match to the left of this room.. put the
match on the hot coals so it becomes a lit match.. then put
your kettle on the coals and let it boil.. the kettles
whistle will smash the glass and you can now take the door
key that lets you back out of this room...
Head into the cannon room and give the toffee monster
the toffee, from the chest pick up the lyrical drink
Head back into Monty's room and place your sheet of
poetry onto the poets tomb, drink the lyrical drink and now
look at the poetry that is on the tomb, you have now
successfully communicated with the dead and in return have
been given a pair of slippers. Okay back into the cannon room
and notice you can now walk left into the banqueting room
(remember the lever in the kettle room opened this door).
banqueting room
the first shrine and burial chamber is for grandad..
he's not as dead as he should be and looking at him will
reveal how cold he is.. poor sole.. give him his slippers and
in return you will get another toffee
Go to the top of this room, pick up the song and insert
your new toffee into the toffee monster... you can now pick
up the acting potion and the cannon ball.. have a good look
round this room, you will see the magicians tomb, a heavy
piano, Lord Terival, a banqueting table with room for four, a
royal letter with chest either side and a candle holder with
chests either side.
okay back to the cannon room and insert your cannon
ball into the cannon and then drop the lit match onto the
wick of the cannon.. after the bang you now have access to
uncle Georges room..
to be continued...
