Valhalla3D The Curse Of Infinity
THE STORY SO FAR
The kingdom of Valhalla has witnessed many changes within its complex history.
For us though, only the last 18 years are of any importance
Valhalla The Beginning
King Garamond
with his wife
Queen Valencia,
ruled over the land. The people of Valhalla rejoiced, tranquility, prosperity and peace reigned for all that embraced this perfect union and royal rule. With a two year old son, the
Prince of Valhalla,
the royal bloodline was set to flourish, with an established legitimate heir to the throne
Valhalla Before The War
The only discord within this idyllic period emanated from the
Lord of Infinity, who was
Garamond's younger brother.
Infinity harbored an apparent jealousy, confused, and often misunderstood, he always believed he should have been king instead of his brother
The
Bishop of Valhalla approached
King Garamond, with rumors that
Infinity was plotting to kill him and that he had overheard him
chanting, "you are not my brother, you are an obstacle to my destiny"
Garamond could not ignore this threat, which would have normally resulted in execution, but as
Infinity was of his own flesh and blood, he ordered him to be imprisoned within the Servants Hall ,over the watchful eye of his trusted
Wizard Greylim
However,
Infinity's hatred and 'evil resolve' proved itself, and whilst Valhalla slept,
Infinity outwitted
Greylim, escaped from the Servants Hall, poisoned
Valencia, electrocuted
Garamond and illegally crowned himself king of Valhalla
This abominable act resulted in civil war amongst the people of Valhalla and
Infinity ordered the death of all
Garamond's followers and to drown the prince, the true and legitimate heir to the throne.
But the prince could not be found, unknown to Infinity the
bishop had rescued the child, and fled to a neighboring kingdom
Valhalla & The Lord Of Infinity
14 years passed and whilst in exile the prince learnt of wisdom, the history of
Valhalla and most importantly, justice. At his coming of age, the prince returned
to the castle of Valhalla on a quest of vengeance, to destroy his father's murderer and take his rightful place as king
Armed with the Light of Valhalla the
prince did indeed kill Infinity and reclaim the throne.
He was officially crowned
King Garamond II and like his father before him was cherished by the people of the
land
Valhalla & The Fortress Of Eve
2 years after being crowned king, councilers advised Garamond II that he should marry, for the sole purpose
of producing heirs to the throne and ensuring the kingdoms royal rule
News of this reached
Queen Eve, an evil ruler of a neighboring kingdom and
Garamond soon discovered that all of the eligible ladies within Valhalla had been abducted and imprisoned within
Queen Eve's fortress
All of which was part of a detestable plot by
Eve, to try and force
Garamond to marry her daughter,
Ezmerelda, which would allow
Eve, the then eldest royal, to claim the kingdom of Valhalla as her own
Not to be outsmarted,
Garamond eventually destroyed
Queen Eve and rescued the ladies of Valhalla from her Fortress Tower, and it was there he fell in love with a peasant girl named
Lisa and took her as his bride
However, it must be noted that whilst
Garamond was in Eves Fortress Tower he inadvertently disturbed a tomb.
A tomb that Queen Eve constructed to house the spirit of the Lord of Infinity,
whom she had always admired and worshipped
Valhalla & The Curse Of Infinity
And so our story draws close to present,
King Garamond II now married to
Queen Lisa rule over the kingdom of Valhalla, peace and
tranquility flourishes once more
Aneska, from the district of Greyl has sent letter to
King Garamond II, words of despair that seem shrouded in mystery, it reads,
"I have seen him, he is back, come quick for council is required"
your loyal subjects the Lady and Lord of Greyl
And so Garamond, with bravery and intrigue that has guided him so well before,
sets forth toward Greyl Manor
